Will

A Will is a legal document that allows you to set forth how you want your property, both personal and real, to be distributed upon your death.  A Will may also set forth the guardianship of your children, your desires regarding burial and funeral arrangements and many other personal desires you would like expressed to those you leave behind.

 

Trust

A Trust is a legal document that creates a legal entity to hold your property.  A Trust may be established to provide for your support during your life and make distributions or provide support to your loved once upon your death.  A Trust may also allow you to avoid or reduce taxes upon your death or protect your property from creditors.     


Power of Attorney

A Power of Attorney is a legal document you may use to appoint and authorize another person to act on your behalf.  A Power of Attorney may be established to provide the person you appoint the authority to act on your behalf generally or in limited situations. 

 

Health Care Power of Attorney

A Health Care Power of Attorney is a legal document that allows you to set forth the individuals to whom medical providers may release your medical information and the individuals who can make healthcare related decisions on your behalf.   

 

Living Will

A Living Will is a legal document that sets forth your desires with regards to life-sustaining treatment in the event you are incapacitated or no longer able to convey your desires to medical providers directly.
